MS Sharepoint HELP!

Hi all,
I need help on configuring a microsoft sharepoint site (version 2.0). I've done the research prior to posting this and wasn't able to solve my problem.
We have a main site with our calendar (events list) in it, and want to sync other calendars (events lists) on other sharepoint sites with our calendar so we can see the schedules of other departments and groups in our calendar on top of our schedules. Is there an easy way of doing this?
any input is greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to do this for a day now and still no luck.
