Visual Basic Serial Comms To SLC500 ?

Does anybody have sample code for direct communications with an AB SLC500 processor using RS232?

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I have't try this dll, but I bump in to it when searching for SLC500 information. It might be useful for you, I hope it works, is ModBus.

besides, since you do not mention ModBus you might use this link to reference to DF1 protocol information and develop you VB app:
