XML Files and Terramodel

I have multiple alignments in an XML format that I am attempting to import into Terramodel.  Every time I attempt to do so I get a message that states "Alignment contains incorrectly formed segments".  Then they come in with all kinds of spikes and valleys when it should be a smooth curving shape.  I think it might have something to do with Spirals, and it doesn't like the way the spirals were formed.  Any suggestions?  Any of you seen this before?
